Business Forms Collators

Roll fed business forms collators are indespensible at making multiple part continuous and unit set forms. The major suppliers of these machines are Harris Shcriber, Hamilton, Form Flo, and Western Gear. Louis Schriber made his first machines in the year I was born 1947. Scriber - Harris-Schriber went on to make over 4000 of them over the years. The main models were the standard, 550, 300A, 505, 525, 625, 750, 925, and 950. Form Flo in Arizona started with a Schriber clone of the 550 in the late 1980's and went on to become a good machine. They also ended up making a top feed Hamilton clone too. Hamilton tool started making roll collators after Schriber and they made them different. Hamilton feed the paper from the top on to a pin tape. Schriber-Form Flo were mostly bottom feed machines that ran over pin drums. Hamiltons main machines were the HiLine in standard and Jumbo roll sizes. To many people Hamilton is the best collator ever made. This has to do with its sturdy durable construction and high performance. Personally I have always thought that Hamilton and Schriber both had selling points. Call me if you want more talk about collators.
